How to use an eGPU on a laptop with a Geforce GPU? I have a laptop that has a Quadro T2000 chip in it. It came prebuilt with Windows 10. I want to attach an eGPU with a GPU that has Geforce drivers to it. But I do not have the eGPU and the GPU so I can not test it. But this is my plan. What I did was I shut down the laptop and waited a while. Then I used the eGPU and the laptop. I made sure that when I used the eGPU on the laptop, the laptop was on. Then I connected it to a monitor and booted up the laptop from within Windows. I started using the eGPU and I shut it down (the laptop). I turned on the laptop and did the same. Once I shut the laptop down I had to wait a few minutes before the eGPU was powered off and the laptop powered down. I put the eGPU on charge because I plan to use it for a long time. After I shut the eGPU down, I then attached the GPU I want. When the eGPU is attached to the newest NVIDIA GPU, there is no new Nvidia tool (not even in the legacy app) that lets me detect the attached GPU. How can I switch to Geforce or install the Geforce tools for the card I attached? d2c66b5586
