After you add a soundtrack, you can change its length like any other type of clip. You can also use more than one soundtrack in a project. For example, if you want to change the mood of the soundtrack over the course of your movie, you can trim the first soundtrack in the timeline, then place a different soundtrack after it.
When you add a sound effect, the sound effect is attached to the video clip above it in the timeline. If you move the video clip, the sound effect moves with the video clip. This is different from soundtracks, which are independent of the video clips in your project.

If you do see the Wi-Fi symbol, but songs are not downloading, go to the Wi-Fi section of your phone's settings and make sure that the network you are connected to doesn't have any error alerts next to it.
By default, Spotify prevents you from downloading songs over cellular data networks, so if you have an LTE connection instead of a Wi-Fi connection, the songs will wait until the next time you are connected to Wi-Fi to download.
3. Check what it says next to "Subscription." If it does not say "PREMIUM," this is why you cannot download songs. If you are paying for a Premium subscription, make sure you're logged into the right account. If you are, contact Spotify to resolve the issue.

Play music: Tap any play button on a playlist, or tap on an individual song or album, to see a miniplayer appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the miniplayer to see the Now Playing screen and various controls, including the ability to download a song for offline listening, skip, play next, favourite or dislike, share, AirPlay, add to your library, start a station, or see the lyrics. Spotify Premium users have a wide range of download options for mobile and desktop apps. This includes being able to download albums, playlists, podcasts, and songs on five different devices for offline listening.
Simply go to the playlist or album you want to delete, then select the green downwards arrow. When it turns gray, that means those song downloads have been removed. This deletion method also applies to both mobile and desktop apps.
Since most songs nowadays average about 197 seconds (roughly 3:28 minutes), a Very High song download would take up 7.88 MB of space. In contrast, the Low setting uses about 0.18 MB per minute and would thus take up only 0.59 MB of space per song.
On the other hand, if you have a slow internet connection and space to spare, feel free to download songs in High or Very High quality. This way, you can listen to your music without having to suffer through audio stutters.
This is especially because not only downloaded songs get added to Spotify cache. Songs you have recently played will be stored in your cache files as well. This keeps things running smoothly even when you suddenly lose connection.
When you're offline and want to listen, tap Your Library > Music and find your music under Albums or Playlists. If the album or playlist has been downloaded and is available for offline use, you'll see the downward-facing green arrow.
If you know you'll be offline for awhile, like on a plane, activate Offline Mode, which will show you only the content you have downloaded. On Android, tap Home and the gear icon on the top right, then toggle Offline mode to on. On iOS tap Home > [gear icon] > Playback > Offline.
If you no longer need offline access or want to free up space on your device, navigate to the album or playlist you want to delete from downloads and simply toggle the Downloaded button to off (Android) or tap the green, downward-facing arrow on the top left and tap Remove in the pop-up window (iOS).
Spotify is one of our favorite podcast apps, and it's a convenient way to keep your music and podcasts all in one place. For offline use, you can either download one-off episodes you'd like to check out, or follow a specific podcast and download episodes as they appear in your library. The process is the same on iOS and Android.
First, search or browse to find a podcast you want to listen to. On the podcast's page, you can tap the downward-facing arrow to download specific episodes right away. Or tap Follow, which will add new episodes to your library as they're released. You can then download episodes at your leisure via Your Library > Podcasts > Episodes. Downloaded episodes can be found via Your Library > Podcasts > Downloads.
If you're loading up your phone with a bunch of albums and playlists, you might want to restrict those downloads to when you're on Wi-Fi, so the process doesn't eat into your monthly data allotments. On iOS, navigate to Home > [gear icon] > Music Quality > Download Using Cellular. On Android, it's Home > [gear icon] > Download Using Cellular.
Find the playlist you'd like to download, and tap the Download toggle on the top right. When complete, it will say Downloaded. Downloaded playlists will have an downward-facing green arrow on the left menu. Click the toggle again to remove the download. 2b1af7f3a8
